Welcome to the McCormick Creek
golf course. Our golf course offers a challenge for all levels and
ages of golfer. The course was originally designed by Gary Kern in
1973. Many changes and course improvements have taken place over
the years.
Today McCormick Creek offers
a par 72 golf course with tees ranging from 4966 yards for the ladies,
5962 yards for the seniors and back tees with a distance of 6434 yards.

by hole below. Our scorecard is also shown with a layout of the

Hole #1
- As
you tee off on hole number one you encounter a slight dogleg to the
right with a fairway bunker on the right side and the left side of the
hole. The approach shot is
over the creek to a bowl shape green with bunkers on both sides.

Hole #2 -
Hole
number 2 is a straightaway par 4 with a bunker on the left hand side of
the green.
|
|
|
|
Hole #3 - Hole number 3
is a par 5 with a tight fairway on a fairway bunker on the right hand
side and a creek in front of the green to give the long bombers a 2nd
thought about trying to reach the green in too.
The green is also surrounded by 2 bunkers.

|
Hole #4 - Hole
number 4 is a short par with with a demanding tee shot.
There is out of bounds left, Creek, fairway bunker and a large
tree to deal with off the tee. The
green is a heavy sloped with a bunker protecting the front of it.

Hole #5 - Hole
5 is another short par 4 with a fairway bunker and out of bounds along
the left side and behind the green and water down the right side and in
front of the green.

Hole #6 - Long
Par 3 with water on the right hand side and out of bounds on the left
side with a greenside bunker behind the green.
|
|
|
|
Hole #7 - Another
long par 3 with a bunker to the left of the green.
|
|
|
|
Hole #8 - A
tight driving par 5 with water down the right hand side and out of bounds
down the left hand side. The
green is surrounded by 3 bunkers.

|
Hole #9 - A
short but tough par 4 water on left and right if you hit your drive to far
your in the water. Bunker at
back of large green.

|
Hole #10 - Ten
is a short par 4 with a dogleg to the right and an approach shot over a
creek. There is one bunker on
the left hand side.

|
|
Hole #11 - A
reachable par 5 with a tight fairway and fairway and green side bunker
that comes into play.

|
|
Hole #12 - The
straight par 3 with good length and bunkers on both sides of the green.
|
|
|
|
Hole #13 - A tough tee shot
water down the left hand side and a fairway bunker on the right.
The green has 3 bunkers surrounding it.

|
Hole #14 - A
very tough par 3 Out of bounds right and water left with 2 bunkers on the
right hand side.
|
|
|
|
Hole #15 - A short par 4
with a fairway bunker and a greenside bunker.
|
|
|
|
Hole #16 - A
tough tee shot on a short par 4,
You must carry the water off the tee and you have to decide how
much to cut off. The green has
a large bunker on the right hand side.

|
Hole #17 - A good par 5 with
out of bounds down the right and 1 fairway bunker and 2 greenside bunkers.

Hole #18 - A
great par 4 the tee ball must be left of the water and short of the water
in front of the green.
The 2nd shot must be over the water and short of a
bunker behind the green.
This is a real nerve grabber.
